Sofia Tartarini
The main research activities of Sofia Tartarini are related to the development of crop models to support breeding. She works on model-based studies aimed at identifying ideotypes improved for their resistance/tolerance to extreme environmental conditions (e.g., salinity). She is also involved in the development of index based insurance products for winter cereal and tomato.
